The first volume of the Polish Arabian Stud Book was published in 1926, under the title of „Polish Stud Book for Arabian Horses”:
Polish Stud Book for Arabian Horses vol. 1 (up to 1925) – published in 1926
In 1932 the stud book underwent re-organization. Horses were categorized into two sections: for Purebred Arabian Horses and Horses bred in Purity. The publication – under a new name (Polish Arabian Stud Book for Purebred Arabian Horses and Horses bred in purity) – was printed in 1932 and was labeled as „Volume 1”, signaling the start of a new way of organising horses within the two groups. The subsequent numbering of the volumes has continued to this day.

Due to a growing interest in Polish Arabian horses and a demand for the earlier stud book volumes, PASB volume 1 and PASB volume 2 were re-printed. They included corrections in regard to their first versions. The second section (Horses bred in Purity) was omitted in these reprints:
